Chi Heem Wong

Chi Heem Wong is a Senior Research Scientist at Hitachi America, Ltd researching on the applications of artificial intelligence in finance and supply chains. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, advised by Andrew W. Lo. He also holds a B.Eng. (First Class Honors) in Mechanical Engineering and a B.SocSci. (First Class Honors) in Economics from the National University of Singapore. At Stanford, he works on evaluating large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models and using them to create safe and useful agents that interact with the real world.
